Back at the autumn 2013, Canadian Guider magazine
Communications Coordinator Mary Vincent and Editor Sharon Jackson contacted me
to see if I'd do a post to their spring problem. They are just tired of crafts
or desired to publish an informative article on how aged suggestions might be
adapted by Guiders and find new ones when they aren't so tricky, as well as how
to escape a rut that was crafting. So I said I would really like to! I hadn't
ever done anything like that before except for the time that I did a blogger
interview with Canadian Guider magazine here. I didn't understand that my words
and photos would Wind up being two full page spreads I had sent a lot of
photographs of my craft ideas from over the years and they picked a few to this
post Get Crafty! .
Some of the pictures were posted on Owl & Toadstool over
the last few years so you may comprehend a few. This newspaper Brownie doll in
the orange uniform sporting the prior two finger sign could easily be adapted
to suit the new uniform and hand sign. At the left you can see my Guider
SmashbookWow! They did an wonderful job on the layout! because they do
throughout the magazine! This reminds me of scrapbook papers and a smashbook
blog! It's truly fantastic to see my inventions. Thanks so much Guider
magazine! It turns out into a drawstring bag that holds the pieces inside. And
the last of my craft ideas in Northern Guider Spring 2014 suggestions to Go
segment... Clothespin pompom Caterpillars. This article says A Hat Craft
although I've used this particular craft. It functions both ways I am sure.
It's a magnetic backing.
That is fine although the article left out that the strip
from the materials needed. This craft was another"made ages ago"
craft once I had been Tawny Owl. I have been Night Owl, Tawny Owl, Brown Owl,
Guider Lee Ann, Guider Brown Owl. . .so several names! But I answer to every
one of these LOL Some Girl Guide Crafts Pinterest links! Then , back in February
2014, Sharon Jackson, Canadian Guider's Editor, contacted me because she loved
the post about Toadstool & Owl including my dancing caterpillar pompom
craft.
So section Spring Entertaining that led to Move! Please be
aware that the tic tac toe craft was not my first idea...I'd discovered that
notion from a craft magazine. I came up past when I was Brown Owl. . .well
maybe not ages past. . .about 8 years back. . .ok maybe that was ages ago! LOLI
created this Patrol Emblem Memory match thought . The trefoil logo has changed,
although the emblems are still the same, thank goodness. GGC emblem now has a
border around the trefoil. This felt tic tac toe game was fun to make. Not my
original idea but I can not remember which magazine it was out of. . .possibly Pac-O-Fun.
